Charlie Melts The Sky is a combination of two, dramatically lit, black and white photographs of a pile of sculptures. The sculptures are made of construction materials covered in highly reflective metal flashing and screwed down with hex head screws (used in the assembly of ductwork). The resulting images appear to be from another universe. Everything is animated; thrown into space, floating.

Dramazar, completed in 2009, appears to be childlike in its palette and drawing style, but it is anything but innocent. It is a cosmic cartoon, psychological anarchy and peaceful omnipresence in fields of ever-changing images and associations.

Master Quark, completed in 2010, utilizes Photoshop to stretch the image into a new dimension, a cartooned proposal for the force of gravity. It shows the Soul Tower perspective is still subject to an even larger gravitational force.

These paintings move Pop Art into the realm of Pop Physics. They are theatrical at their core. They imply multi-universal contemplation as a part of a modern lifestyle. They are cosmic adventure paintings. They function well with modern interior design, not only through modern coloration, but they offer a viewing entertainment that for an extended meditative moment, stops time and becomes an optical experience that is like a movie of the mind.
